What is the Second Home Expo? 

For the fourth time in 2024, Elxis visits the The Second Home Expo. This time, it’s in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

 

At Second Home Expo, you will find a selection of 150,000 holiday homes in more than 25 countries under one roof, and have access to all the industry experts in one place. As a home seeker, it’s the best place to start your home hunting. There are five expos every year spread across the Netherlands and Belgium, and Elxis has participated in every one since it started.

 

The event has been going since 1995, growing today to be one of the largest international home fairs in Europe, now with over 150 exhibitors. About 30,000 visitors come every year to the fair.

When is the Next Second Home Expo?

The next event is in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands from the 4th to the 6th of October, 2024.

 

The expo will be held from 10:00 – 17:00 in Halls 6 & 7 of Brabanthallen Den Bosch.

 

The remaining Second Home Expo Planned for 2024 is in Ghent, Belgium.

Will Elxis be at Second Home Expo ‘s-Hertogenbosch?

Yes, Elxis will be present with a team of experts from both our Netherlands and Greece-based offices. Moreover, Giorgos Gavriilidis, Greek lawyer and CEO of Elxis, will give a talk about buying a second home in Greece at 11:55 am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

 

The presentation shows the different facets and the particularities of buying a house in Greece. Cases such as tax and inheritance law are also discussed.

How to Get to Second Home Expo ‘s-Hertogenbosch

By Car

The Brabanthallen is easily accessible from the A2, A59 and A65. The venue is less than 40 minutes drive from Eindhoven, Tilburg, Breda, Utrecht, Arnhem and Nijmegen. It is also a half hour drive from Eindhoven Airport and the German and Belgian border.

 

Parking tickets can be ordered in advance. Parking for the disabled is free. Note that you must leave the car park no later than 1 hour after the end time of the expo, because the parking lot will close afterwards.

 

Public Transport to Second Home Expo ‘s-Hertogenbosch

Brabanthallen ‘s-Hertogenbosch is about 15 minutes walking from Central Station. To reach the Brabanthallen, you need to leave the station at station exit “Brabanthallen” and follow the signs to exit. Read more at www.9292.nl.
