What one has with France or Spain, we have with Greece. Sun, sea, a wonderful climate, friendly people, a feeling of home.
A house in Greece had been a secret wish for years, but we thought it would never come true. Until 2 years ago, when Arie went to buy a nice magazine for the weekend. The Greece Magazine. There was a report in it about Elxis, in Utrecht. We phoned and shortly afterwards went to the Second Home Fair.
Soon we made a trip to Crete to have a look at things. We visited the construction company in Rethymnon extensively and looked at the possibilities. We saw houses that were under construction and also houses that were already finished. It all looked good. We spoke to people who already had such a beautiful house and heard about their experiences. We immediately had a good feeling about it. The decision was made quickly.
Now we also own a (dream) house in Greece. It is still a bit unreal, but we are looking forward to the next time we will go to a house in Greece.
