Villa Amaryllis

€ 835.000
3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / size 196 m2

Description

This splendid off-plan residence (196 sqm) offers unrivalled views over the Mediterranean Sea, the North coast of Crete and the eye-striking sunsets – a grand panorama that can be literally enjoyed from every corner of the property. It combines privacy with reasonable distance to some of the island’s top hangouts.

Entering the site from the back side, visitors are guided down to the main house via a wide white-washed pathway. Next to it, a sleek wooden carport can host up to two cars.

The two-floors, 3 en-suite bedrooms and all common areas bear all the hallmarks of a tasteful, luxury accommodation. This Greek villa comprises of crisp earthy tone cubes with big windows and doors. Inside, rooms have surprising volumes thanks to high ceilings, providing comfortable movement between the seamlessly connected rooms.

The house layout works as a complementary element of the plot, ensuring and revealing the astonishing view as it takes advantage of the site’s inclination. The extensive open plan living space spills out to the terrace and swimming pool (42 sqm). The ground floor en-suite bedroom (23 sqm) is located towards the garden, having visual connection to the pool from one side and mesmerising views to the Platanias coastline from its private balcony. Almost every space is oriented towards the view, has natural light and access to the outdoor, a characteristic of Mediterranean architecture.

A wooden stairway links organically the two levels. From there, a corridor guides the way to the remaining two bedrooms and the storeroom. Both bedrooms lead out to north-oriented balconies, which feel like an extension to the interior. You can walk out and enjoy the heightened views towards the sea and the pool garden.

The real key point is the arrangement of the outdoor lounge – perfect for watching the sun set over the Aegean Sea.  The developer’s intention is to design  a holiday residence that would allow to enjoy being outside throughout the day. The outdoor spaces are generously offering a variety of uses, embracing the outdoor way of living, an eat-in dining area and several lounging areas, both covered and exposed to the sun.

Splash around while taking breathtaking vistas from the infinity pool, enjoy the Greek sun lying on the sun beds or enjoy a cold drink at the low seating lounge which is set next to the pool. A long wooden dining table sits at the right top corner of the courtyard to host your dining with friends and family. Fitted-lamps create a romantic yet inviting aura through the whole space.
