The house (160 sqm) consists of a bright, spacious living room with a traditional kamara (arch vault), kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. The living room has also a beautiful view. Both the living room, the kitchen and the bedroom have a beautiful wooden roof construction as a ceiling, which is very characteristic of Greece.

It is extremely comfortable all year round, because of a central heating system which covers all areas. In the living room and in the kitchen there are so-called “finovens”, wood stoves that provide a pleasant warmth and which have the characteristic trait to be very economical. The house has double glazing and shutters and was completely renovated in 2010, including the roof. Additionally, the solar water heater was upgraded in 2023.

The private guest house (45 sqm) has two rooms, a simple open kitchen and a bathroom.

Kythira is a charming island positioned opposite the southeastern tip of the Peloponnese peninsula, strategically bridging the gap between the Greek mainland and Crete. Chora, the main town, provides essential visitor amenities like ATMs, supermarkets, pharmacies, and gas stations. Aroniadika hosts a General Hospital, while the island’s airport is situated near the primary port of Diakofti. In the summer season, Kythira can be reached through flights departing from Athens and Thessaloniki, or by ferry routes originating from Athens, Neapolis, Gythio, and Kissamos. The island provides diverse transportation options.
