What is the Second Home Expo?
For the third time in 2024, Elxis visits the The Second Home Expo. This time, it’s in Utrecht.
At Second Home Expo, you will find a selection of 150,000 holiday homes in more than 25 countries under one roof, and have access to all the industry experts in one place. As a home seeker, it’s the best place to start your home hunting. There are six expos every year spread across the Netherlands and Belgium, and Elxis has participated in every one since it started.
The event has been going since 1995, growing today to be one of the largest international home fairs in Europe, now with over 150 exhibitors. About 25,000 visitors come every year to the fair.

How to Get to Second Home Expo Utrecht
By Car
If you come to Jaarbeurs by car, follow the map for the parking lot. Follow the blue ANWB signs with the indication ‘Year Fair’.

Public Transport to Second Home Expo
Jaarbeurs is located right next to Utrecht Central Station and is accessible by train. From Central Station follow the signs for ‘Jaarbeursplein’ and you will be in the Jaarbeurs within a few minutes.
Next to the Central Station is the bus station, there are buses that stop regularly. From the station you are within a few minutes of Jaarbeurs. Look at 9292.nl for detailed travel information.
