Elxis' offices in Thessaloniki opened their doors last weekend, November 22-23, with hundreds of locals and tourists having the opportunity to visit them as part of OpenHouse Thessaloniki. The beautiful offices, designed and curated by Urban Soul Project, are located in Aristotelous Square, in the most central part of the city, facing the Thermaic Gulf.

Greece is entering a new era of property and inheritance regulation. For the first time in over 80 years, the government is preparing a comprehensive reform of the Inheritance Law, designed to simplify procedures, ensure fairness, and modernise how estates are managed.

By 2026, the islands of Naxos and Donoussa will welcome visitors of all abilities to their beaches, marking a major step toward inclusivity and sustainable island tourism in Greece.  The initiative, titled “Disabled Service Infrastructure on the Beaches of Naxos and Donoussa” is part of the South Aegean 2021–2027 Regional Program. It aims to create beaches that are open, safe, and enjoyable for everyone: residents, families, seniors, and travellers with disabilities.  Funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with a budget of almost €260,000, the project will be implemented by the Municipality of Naxos and Small Cyclades. It reflects a broader regional strategy to ensure accessibility and equality across the South Aegean islands, while promoting Greece as a model for inclusive travel in Europe.

Along Greece’s serene western coast, something remarkable has unfolded this year. Kyparissia Bay, a long stretch of golden sand in the Peloponnese, has recorded one of the most successful Caretta Caretta (loggerhead sea turtle) nesting seasons in decades; a milestone for both wildlife conservation and Greece’s natural heritage. According to the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece (ARCHELON), more than 6,100 nests were documented in 2025, marking a 74% increase compared to the 12-year average. That’s not only a local success but a European one: together with Zakynthos’ Laganas Bay, Kyparissia now hosts over 57% of all Caretta Caretta nests in the European Union. This makes Kyparissia Bay the most important sea turtle nesting area in the Mediterranean, a quiet, natural paradise that’s playing a leading role in preserving one of the world’s oldest marine species.
