Agios Nikolaos is a small fishing village on the Messenian Gulf, one of the quieter stretches of the West Mani, and this two-storey stone house stands among olive trees.

Kalamata, the nearest town, and Kalamata International Airport are both roughly an hour to an hour and a half away by road, so a car is part of life here.
