It is Monday morning, 30 June 2014. The sun is already high in the sky again. Today is going to be a warm day. Today is going to be a fantastic day. Today is the day we will receive the key to our fantastic villa on Crete in the town of Loutra near Rethymnon. We have dreamed about it for years and today everything falls into place. After years of holidays on Crete we now have our own place on this beautiful island.
During a visit to the Second Home Fair in Utrecht, we came into contact with Elxis Greek Real Estate. Vangelis and Giorgos surprised us with their vision, legal and fiscal knowledge and backgrounds, but especially with their seminar about Greece and especially about Crete and the villages around Rethymnon. The CD-ROM they gave us gave a good impression of the surroundings and plots and when we visited Crete with Giorgos in May 2013 and saw the plots we were convinced.
Then we came into contact with the project developer who worked out all the plans and built a fantastic house for us. All according to the latest standards and rules as a house must be built. Vangelis and Giorgos, thank you very much for your advice and thinking along. Without you we would not have taken the step so quickly.
