The sandy beach of Kalo Nero appeals greatly to those of us dreaming of relaxing holidays by the sea. Kalo Nero is unique for its coastline which is the home of sea turtles. A species of the Caretta-Caretta turtle nest and reproduce there, so the beach is protected. The quiet waters are also exceptional for snorkelling! Additionally, the stretching of the beach creates the perfect conditions for enjoying various water sports.

Within an hour, on the other hand, one can reach the Temple of Apollo and the ancient city of Messini, which are marvels of ancient Greek civilizations and culture.
