Pylos is the main town of the area, with one of the biggest natural ports in Europe and a small marina. Being amphitheatrically built and very picturesque makes it one of the most beautiful towns in Greece. It has a lovely central square, shaded by ancient plane trees, where you can find an excellent assortment of shops and nice cafeterias. There are also supermarkets, traditional restaurants, pharmacies, and a small medical center with good facilities and reliable staff who will provide prompt emergency services for mild cases.

The area of Pylos has four impressive signature golf courses, the nearest one being just 8 minutes away from the property.

Gialova: This village is one of the fastest developing tourist destinations in Greece, a coastal settlement with high-quality beach-side restaurants, some housed in old stone warehouses, coffee shops, bars, stores, and supermarkets.

Methoni: This small and well-preserved traditional town is protected by the Greek Archaeological Service due to its imposing Venetian Castle, offering mesmerizing sunset vistas. Methoni has two squares, one in the center of the town and a seaside one, where you can find a choice selection of excellent fish restaurants and taverns, as well as cafes, bars, and retail shops.

Finikounda: A coastal village, that has developed into one of the most beautiful summer resorts of the southern Peloponnese and is surrounded by long sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, where you can enjoy water sports as well. The village has a very pretty harbour for traditional fishing boats and recreational crafts. There are also beachfront cafeterias, and several traditional restaurants, where you can enjoy, among others, fresh fish and delicious dishes of the Messinian cuisine.
