Taygetos, the village is a prime example of the meticulously restored traditional architecture of this region.

Petalidi: A small traditional village, situated on the western shore of the Messenian Gulf. The center of the village is its beautiful square with the church of St. Nikolaos, restaurants, and cafes, while a little further lies the small harbour. There are many amazing beaches in the greater vicinity of Petalidi where you can swim and sunbathe all day long.

Finikounda: A coastal village, that has developed into one of the most beautiful summer resorts of the southern Peloponnese and is surrounded by long sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, where you can enjoy water sports as well. The village has a very pretty harbour for traditional fishing boats and recreational crafts. There are also beachfront cafeterias, and several traditional restaurants, where you can enjoy, among others, fresh fish and delicious dishes of the Messinian cuisine.

Methoni: This small and well-preserved traditional town is protected by the Greek Archaeological Service due to its imposing Venetian Castle, offering mesmerizing sunset vistas. Methoni has two squares, one in the center of the town and a seaside one, where you can find a choice selection of excellent fish restaurants and taverns, as well as cafes, bars, and retail shops.

Pylos: One of the biggest natural ports in Europe also boasting a small marina. Amphitheatrically built and very picturesque it is one of the most beautiful towns in Greece, with a lovely central square, shaded by ancient plane trees, where you can find an excellent assortment of shops and nice cafeterias. There are also supermarkets, traditional restaurants, pharmacies, and a small medical center with good facilities and reliable staff who will provide prompt emergency services for mild cases. The area of Pylos also offers four impressive signature golf courses.
