Messaria Villa
Description
A beautiful family home, located in the wildlife protected area of Messaria, Kos. This villa was built in 2009, following an open plan pattern in its daily living areas.
Indoor
Entering from the front porch there is a reception area which leads to the open plan living area. This area consists of a wide hall/entrance and a large living area with magnificent views on both sides of the room with wooden vaulted ceilings in the main living area with chandelier and decorative fireplace. Through to the fully fitted kitchen which has all electric appliances and granite work areas. The dining area is next to the kitchen, also open plan. Both the kitchen, dining and lounge areas lead to the north facing balcony via sliding doors. This balcony view looks across to the sea, the Turkish coast, Pserimos and Kalymnos.
The bedroom/bathroom areas are accessible through a separate corridor, leading also to the large integrated garage. Going up the corridor on the left side there are two double bedrooms, each with their own balcony, fitted wardrobes and storage. These two bedrooms have views towards the sea. On the opposite side is the main bedroom which has a shower, wash basin, bidet and toilet. There is also a walk-in wardrobe with drawers and storage cupboards above. This room also has its own balcony which looks towards the Dikeos mountains.
Going down the hallway there is an office or 4th bedroom with a pull-down bed unit, with wardrobe frontage when closed. A bathroom is located exactly next, which consists of a large shower, a washbasin and a toilet. On the opposite side there is a utility room which has a door leading to the front balcony.
The home is fully double glazed and insulated.
Outdoor
The outside areas around the property are stone flagged pathways. There is a terrace at the sea side of the house with barbecue area and sink. There is sufficient room for a pool to be built next to the barbecue area or elsewhere on the plot. The 5440 sqm olive grove produces oil each year. It is covered with wild flowers including wild orchids in the spring.
