Efi Filippidou
Efi is the HR Officer at Elxis.
After graduating from the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, she decided to move to England to pursue a Master's Degree in Human Rights at the University of Nottingham. Over time, she found herself increasingly drawn to the human side of organizations: how people develop, grow, and thrive at workplaces. She stayed in the UK for four years, where she shifted her focus to human resources; a shift that felt very natural and kept being her primary goal upon returning to Greece.
Today, as an HR Professional, she applies her legal mindset to real-world people challenges, supporting inclusive policies, handling employee relations with empathy, and ensuring compliance without losing sight of culture.
Primarily interested in the aspect of managing employee relations in conjunction with recruitment and maintaining the corporate culture, she believes that HR acts as a bridge or channel between employees and employers.
