How to Get to Our Office

  • By bus: KTEL buses run between Rethymno bus station and Plakias. The trip takes about an hour. There are about five buses a day in summer and fewer in winter, so check the KTEL Rethymno timetable before you travel. In Plakias, the bus stops on the seafront, a short walk from our office.

  • By taxi: Plakias has a taxi rank on the seafront road, and local companies such as Taxi Plakias also do transfers anywhere in Crete. From Chania or Heraklion airport, it's best to book a transfer in advance.

  • By car: Plakias is about 35 km south of Rethymno, a drive of roughly 40 minutes over the mountains. From Chania airport it takes about 1 hour 40 minutes, and from Heraklion airport about 1 hour 45 minutes. The easiest place to park is Plakias Parking in the village centre. It's open 24 hours, and our office is only a few minutes' walk away.
