The Olive Mill Villa
Description
Located in the peaceful village of Lagolio, this house offers a magnificent view of the Psiloritis and Asterousia mountains. The villa was originally built as an olive oil mill, 250 years ago, and has been renovated and rebuilt in 2007, while preserving its authentic Greek style and atmosphere.
The villa
Situated on a 784 sqm plot in the outskirts of the village, this charming 97 sqm home has terraces on all sides. Enjoy a wonderful breakfast in the morning sun, as well as the view of the valley, the surrounding hills, and even the Psiloritis mountain and the Mediterranean Sea.
Upon entering the home, you will find yourself in the spacious and fully equipped kitchen and dining area, which is separated from the living room by an arch. The living room features two comfortable sofas and the original millstone, which functions as a coffee table.
The ground floor features a bathroom, which is finished with Gortys marble. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and the master bedroom, located upstairs, is furnished with two single beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and the house can also be nicely heated by the warmth and romance of the danish woodstove.
From the home, you have a magnificent view of the valley with its many olive trees. The spacious terrace extends to the oval 3 x 6 m pool.
Next to the house, there is a 3 x 4 m storage room made of stone, that contains a washing machine and an additional large refrigerator. The plot also includes parking space for two cars. The solar water boiler can provide warm water but the water can also be electrically heated if necessary.
Additionally, with an official tourist license from the Greek Ministry of Tourism, it is a great rental property.
