Syros can be reached by ferry from Piraeus, with daily services throughout the year. The journey will take from 2 hr to 3 hr 45 min, depending on the type of vessel and weather conditions. It can also be reached by plane from Athens International Airport and the flight lasts for 35 mins. Once in Syros there are ferry connections to all other Cyclades islands, Mykonos, for example, is 25-45 mins away (depending on vessel type and weather conditions), Paros is 1 hr 5 mins, while Santorini is 2 hr 35 mins away.
