With a beautiful view of the sea and the Mili Gorge, this charming townhouse promises serenity while being just a short 10-minute drive from the lively city centre of Rethymnon. Upon entering the premises, you will be welcomed by four houses, and being the last one of them, this home enjoys the one private parking spot next to the home. Location

Xiro Chorion, a small village near Rethymno, is known for its proximity to the Mili Gorge. This gorge leads to the Venetian village of Mili, deserted over a century ago for unknown reasons, as well as the Byzantine chapel of St. Anthony.

The village derives its name from two Greek words, “Xiro”, meaning dry, and “Chorion”, meaning village. In the last decade, many new houses have been constructed that are now occupied by non-Greek citizens from the EU, bringing new life to the once nearly abandoned village.

Within just 9 minutes, you will be at the beach or you can go for a refreshing drink at the local kafenio. Take in the view of the Amari Dam, located 16 km away, or go on a hike through the Prassano Gorge, situated 6.5 km from the property.
