For many years we have been coming to what is perhaps the least known part of Greece: people who go this way almost always go to the the island of Thasos. But for us, the mountains of the Rhodopes, the Kavala, Chrisoupoli and Xanti are no longer unknowns.
Without really actively searching, we browsed through the Greek Funda and found on Christmas Eve 2020 a lovely little house in the mountains in ‘our’ area. We sent an email to the real estate agent and when we saw the video we were sold. From acquaintances we got the tip to use Elxis to guide the purchase. We certainly did not regret that!
It was not a standard procedure: it turned out that a part of the house had been built illegally and that and that brought a lot of hassle with it. With an appointment at the office last May in Utrecht to discuss the illegal construction (which eventually resulted in a small renovation of the porch!) to the settlement on the spot by Mr. George Gavriilidis – really top! Hereby we would like to express our appreciation of how Elxis handled the purchase of our cottage in Makrychori.”
