Ena Omerovic, a Creative Producer at Elxis, blends her love for movement, exploration, and capturing the world through her unique lens with her passion for showcasing Greece’s vibrant lifestyle.

Ena’s academic journey began with a BSc in Information Systems from the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, followed by an MA in Film and Television Studies from the University of Utrecht. Her lifelong devotion to film, especially documentaries, has seen her contribute to major film festivals such as IDFA in Amsterdam, the Sarajevo Film Festival, and IFFR in Rotterdam. While working at Utrecht University, she crafted a media literacy curriculum for young refugees in the Netherlands, focusing on diverse media-making skills, including filmmaking. Her academic pursuits culminated in a personal documentary in China, earning her the 2nd Prize Golden Lens Award in 2016 and the 1st Prize of Excellence at the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival.

Before joining Elxis, Ena produced a podcast for Deutsche Welle Akademie, tackling digital human rights issues. Her experience working alongside her architect father has also given her a keen eye for design, which she now channels into creating captivating content that highlights Greek properties and the Greek lifestyle.

Ena proudly calls Bosnia, the Netherlands, and Greece her home countries. Crete has become her chosen place of residence, where she immerses herself in outdoor activities, enjoying the island’s raw, unspoiled nature. An animal lover, she has three dogs from the Greek islands and is a proud mother, relishing watching her son grow up in an environment rich with local produce, abundant sunshine, and the sea right there to take a refreshing dive.

At Elxis with the content production she oversees, she strives to help clients find their own “Meraki,” believing firmly in Greece’s unparalleled hospitality and pristine beauty. Ena’s personal mantra is, “Do what you love, and the rest will follow”.
