Around the residence, beautiful courtyards and terraces have been created that provide impressive views of the surrounding landscape and all the way out to the sea. There is the option to create a swimming pool if desired and there is enough parking space for at least 2 cars.

Rental
The villa is an excellent choice for those looking for a private holiday home and/or a rental property, it has been rented out as B&B. The property however was constructed for permanent living and therefore meets all those requirements. It has a solar panel, aluminum doors, and windows with double glazing, as well as (oil burnt) central heating with radiators. The construction is excellent and the well-maintained electrical appliances and furniture are also included in the sale price.

Location
The villa is located only an 11 minutes drive north of the famous beach of Sougia. This village can also be reached by foot on a 2 hours hike which runs through olive groves and beautiful gorges. The property is situated between a beautiful grove of big pine trees and a lush valley. The location is very suitable for nature lovers, as within walking distance one can find many different trails. The villa has a southeastern orientation.

The picturesque village of Rodovani has a traditional cafe and a supermarket, which sells many local products. At the crossing close to the villa (at a 5 minutes walk) you will find a traditional tavern, open all year, where they prepare local specialties for you. The (next) village of Agriles is located at 1,4 km (3 minutes by car, 15 minutes by foot) on the road towards Chania. There you will find a nice restaurant open all year round, offering tasty special foods, where most of the vegetables used in the kitchen come from their own garden. For more facilities, one can go towards Sougia, where there are some restaurants, supermarkets, and shops that are also open all year round. The small town of Kantanos, which is about a 25 minutes drive from the home, has everything else you need, like a well-organized public medical center, schools of all levels, and more. The city centre of Chania is about 1 hour and 20 minutes away, while the airport is only a 1 hour and 30 minutes drive.
