Volos is easily accessible, offering a vibrant lifestyle, access to the hospital, and a gateway to Pelion. Additionally, ferry routes connect the area to the southern parts of Pelion and the picturesque spots of Paleo Trikeri. No more than 8 kilometres from Amaliapolis is Sourpi and the beach of Nies, an ancient port of the Myrmidons, from where Achilles set out for the Trojan War— a nice beach for swimming and fishing.

Last but not least, the center of Athens is approximately a 3-hour and 15-minute drive away, primarily along the National Road, which makes access easy.
