Location

Lakkos and its beach lie on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese, on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Leonidio. At the edge of Lakkos beach, there is a small natural pond with sweet, ice-cold water that pours out of the mountain Spanga and flows into the sea.

The traditional town of Leonidio, with a population of 4.000 people, and lake Pelia are located in the fertile valley of the Dafnonas river. The manors built with Tsakonian architecture, with high whitewashed stone walls and paved or pebble yards, are distinctive of the area.
