Location

There are two nearby airports: one in Aktio (Preveza), at one hour’s drive, and one at Corfu, at 1h45m with a ferry cross to Igoumenitsa. The mainland towns of Syvota and Parga are about 20 minutes by car from Igoumenitsa, which can be reached by ferry from Venice, Ancona or Bari.

The nearby harbour towns of Syvota and Plataria are a perfect place to moor your boat, but they do not center around the tourist industry. Nevertheless, both towns are welcoming to travellers who come to visit and those who do find a side of Greece that almost feels like stumbling upon a hidden treasure.

For those visiting from the city of Thessaloniki, Skorpiona is about 3.5 hours by car. From here, there is also close proximity to the city of Ioannina and the mountainous region of Zagorochoria – places that draw visitors both in summer and in winter.
