Description
On top of a green hill and surrounded by olive groves, this complex of stone-built residences is under construction. A serene location, which invites you to relax by the views to the sea, the traditional settlement and the Venetian castle of Methoni as well as the island of Sapienza.
This collection will be built on a spacious land of 6634 sqm, including 6 stone-built homes varying in size, layout and budget.
Measuring from 53 up to 82 sqm, on one or two floors, with an open mezzanine or not, the prices start at € 210.000.
Each home comes semi-furnished (including A/C units, kitchen appliances, TV, washer-dryer, beds with mattresses and wardrobes). All properties have their own plot and parking space. Key distances
Methoni – 6 minutes by car. A small well-preserved traditional town, protected by the Greek Archaeological Service due to the imposing Venetian Castle, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view to the sunset and beneath which lie a beach and a sheltered harbor. There is a beautiful square in the centre of the town and another one in the seaside, where you can find nice restaurants to enjoy fresh fish and other traditional Mediterranean dishes. Methoni has also supermarkets, pharmacy, dentist and a public infirmary.
Finikounda – 13 minutes by car. A coastal village, which has developed into one of the most beautiful summer resorts of the southern Peloponnese, is surrounded by long sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, where you can enjoy water sports as well. The village has a very pretty harbour for traditional fishing boats and recreational boats.
Pylos – 16 minutes by car. The main town of the area, with one of the biggest natural ports in Europe and a small marina. Being amphitheatrically built and very picturesque makes it one of the most beautiful towns in Greece. It has a lovely central square, shaded by ancient platanus trees, where you can find a good range of shops and nice cafeterias.
Koroni – 35 minutes by car. You can find a wide variety of restaurants and bars which front the attractive harbour side overlooked by the ruins of the original Venetian castle. There are two banks, post office, hairdresser, dentist, doctors, and a wide range of shops for everyday needs. There is also a vegetable and bric-a-brac market on Sunday mornings.
It takes 60 minutes to drive to the International airport and 65 minutes to the modern hospital of Kalamata which is the administrative capital of the area. Kalamata has a port, large yachting marina and motorway access to Athens. The centre of town has been the subject of major regeneration during the past few years and offers a wide range of shopping, eating and relaxing opportunities along its main boulevard. There is a greater variety of shops here offering designer goods and some internationally known stores.
