Villa Ioannis

This is a magnificent villa in Chora, located on Patmos Island in the southeastern Aegean Sea. From its high-up location, it enjoys a breath-taking panoramic view!

The villa
This beautiful villa is made of stone in the traditional island style and was built in 2012. It consists of two floors, measuring 210 sqm, and is located on a plot of 440 sqm.

From the first floor you enter a grand foyer and a sitting area with a beautiful stone-built fireplace. There are also two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The floor contains a stone build oven and the very spacious fully equipped kitchen leads to an outside garden patio with three large verandas. On the inside, a wooden build staircase leads to the second floor of the house and a small storage room.

The second level, which can be reached from the outside stone staircase as well, consists of a living room, a dining room, an independent bedroom with en-suite bathroom and three large verandas with sea view.

The villa is fully furnished with antique furniture and brass light fixtures. The traditional sofas, the wooden floors, the exclusive kitchen tiles and the wooden framed windows, in combination with the exterior stone-paved verandas and patios, give the villa her unique character.

On the outside there are six verandas with a view to the sea and the surrounding islands, a garden with trees and a parking.

The villa also has nine individually controlled A/C units, electric heaters, its own large water deposit, a storage room, hot water boilers and satellite TV.

Location
The Chora of Patmos is a place of unique beauty and cosmopolitan character. In 1999, the island’s historic centre of Chora, along with the Monastery of Saint John and the Cave of the Apocalypse, were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The villa is located just above the main road that leads from the monastery to the windmills.
