Kastro Sunset Villas
The Ionian coastline might be one of Greece’s best kept secrets. Endless sandy beaches, beautiful nature, small villages, the lively towns of Parga and Preveza, and of course spectacular sunsets over the Ionian Sea. Kastrosykia is one of these villages along the Ionian Coast, nestled like a fortress (Kastro is the Greek word for castle) on a plateau at 120 meters above sea level and just 800 meters from the sea. Panoramic views to the sea, the sunset and the 16km long sandy beach of the region – from almost any angle, from any spot. The best place for slow, laid-back summer living while you enjoy this majestic scenery.
At the edge of this village you will find the Kastro Sunset Villas, a small-scale project that consists of a total of 4 villas amidst the olive groves.
All villas share the same core principles, providing optimised natural light through open interiors and ensuring privacy for all guests. Rendered on the inclined land, the villas have immediate access from the back side of the plot, through a local road. Each residence has its own designated parking area. The arrangement fits seamlessly and respectfully within the landscape, but also allows the interior to be neatly orientated towards the sea views. Literally every room in these villas has a view towards the sunset.
The one-level villas (2x) contain a large open plan living room, flanked by a master suite and two further en-suite bedrooms, covering a living area of 95 sqm. A large infinity pool, a spot for sunbathing, a shaded-exterior kitchen and dining area comprise the main exterior area of the villa.
The two-story villas (2x) are designed over a total living area of 130 sqm, with a generous exterior area. At the ground floor, there are two luxurious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an open plan living room with a fully equipped kitchen as well as a storage room. The stairs lead towards the en-suite master bedroom including openings on both the side and the front facades, extending the living space to the large shaded roof terrace and maximising the views.
The outdoor terrace on the ground floor include a shaded area and the infinity pool, both overlooking the Ionian sea. The use of a pergola intends to give guests the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor space throughout the day, protected from the sun and summer winds. As an extra touch of luxury, a separate outdoors dining area and a shaded exterior kitchen are placed next to the pool. This courtyard becomes the focal point of each villa, while the designated tanning area allows you to splash around while catching the sun. Just lounge on!
A Kastro Sunset Villa is the perfect place for a holiday, both for its owners as for guests. Renting a villa like this can offer high returns and is a popular choice among many owners. The villa can pay for itself allowing owners to then enjoy the ultimate holiday destination year-round when they choose to and for as long as they like. You can benefit from sophisticated and professional management of the home without having to worry about it yourself.
