Newspaper Kathimerini, one of Greece’s most credible media outlets, spoke with Elxis CEO Giorgos Gavriilidis about the Greek real estate market and its prospects.
In a story that took a broader view of developments in the sector, Mr. Gavriilidis pointed out that high inflation and robust demand for Greek property from foreign buyers are seen keeping price growth high in 2022, in the double digits, despite the Ukraine war weighing on conditions.
“There is a shift to quality among foreign buyers in Greece as an investment in Greek real estate is seen as a safe haven and this is particularly important when uncertainty is high,” he told the newspaper.
