After years of searching for the ideal vacation home, we found our perfect place in 2019.
On an island not unknown to us (Chios), we found a cottage that met all our needs. Our home is in a port village with taverns and supermarkets at a short distance, where the airport is not far, and the port gives us access to the ferries. In Agia Ermioni all our wishes came together and we bought our dream home in the summer of 2019.
After Covid-19 changed the world, we could finally travel to Chios in July 2020 to turn the key to our house and step into our new home! Many things had to be arranged, from the Netherlands as well as Greece, in order to make our dream home in Greece happen.
With the guidance and help from Elxis, the purchase process was greatly facilitated for us. Our cooperation with Vangelis and Giorgos went very well; we received frequent and useful updates about the progress, and we were always advised what to do when we had questions. The whole experience has been very pleasant and after arranging an authorization in Thessaloniki in October 2019, we could call ourselves owners of our new home by March 2020.
And now, even after everything is finished, both gentlemen are still at our disposal to help us with any questions we have. We can most certainly recommend Elxis to mediate for a property in Greece.
